This is our turn-around spot on our spring hike on Steens Mountain. I think it is Big Indian Gorge... pretty sure.

If you see a picture on my flickr photostream and think "Where did he take that?" there's a good chance you can find out! Most of the photos here (especially the crappy camera-phone looking ones) I've taken with my phone, which has both a camera and GPS built in. When I take a picture, if the GPS is able to know where I am, the device will add the coordinates to the EXIF data in the file. Then when I upload the photo to Flickr, they see the data and give you the option to see the photo on a map. Look for a "map" link under "Aditional information". Pretty cool, I think.
