I love songs/bands that have a sound with very simple and distinct elements (drums, bass, guitar, vocals) that all come together to make something… how does one say, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts? Midnight Oil is a great example. Here’s an another one which made me feel even more depressed after getting dumped by my college GF, in the way one needs to feel more depressed after getting dumped, for catharsis.
